If it turns out to be shit? Neil Patrick Harris, nostalgia porn, degeneration, RTD's ego six times the size given how shitty his successors turned out to be? I must confess i'm a bit surprised more people aren't bugged by the degeneration? Is it just me that views that as being as big a jump the shark moment as the gender bending crap? |

It doesn't bug me because I don't really care about NuWho anymore. The show is so far beyond the point of jumping the shark that I find it impossible to feel anything towards it apart from a sliver of bemused curiosity. Will he be able rehabilitate its reputation with the public at large? Will he even try? It's mildly interesting from an academic perspective, but I couldn't possibly take what this thing has become seriously enough to feel angry about it. |

Doctor Who can do anything it wants, so long as it entertains me. If I find a story boring or poorly constructed, I'll point that out, but for the most part I've never minded classic or Nu Who's stunts in any other form.

The show is already dead for me, as I have not watched a single episode for 5 years. So no, there's little that could make me "Angry". I'm basically just curious, if not particularly optimistic, to see if anything can turn this trainwreck around now.

People are still going on about Paw Patrol. I go on Facebook and whenever they show the logo there's a bunch of people saying, "it looks like Paw Patrol LOL." It's sad really. We can't celebrate this classic homage without a bunch of unenlightened pricks spoiling it. I bet if Tom Baker returned most of them would immediately go, "Hey! He was the voice on Little Britain"

People are willing to forget a LOT if they're having a good time. The love for Tennant outweighs any potential rage. And for the more cynical, the show is already beyond saving so why bother? Might as well enjoy the highlights of the post-shark era. |

To be fair, there may well be an in-story reason for it, ala The Celestial Toymaker.
Plus I think people are just relieved Jodie's gone and the Doctor is a man again...
