I remember when Swinson lost her own seat to the SNP in that fateful election. As a Lib Dem myself I didn't feel angry at Sturgeon celebrating on live TV, I almost joined in! She made Nick 'Facebook' Clegg seem like a political mastermind.
Swinson may not be the biggest c*nt, in my opinion, but she is probably the most inept political figure I've ever come across.

As far as I'm concerned, that was the only excellent part of a truly gruelling and painful night.  That, and Andrew Neil pointing out to Farage that he no longer had any purpose. |

A shame there weren't multiple votes on this one. Nicky Morgan would have had one of my votes - a good example of selling one's soul for a peerage/power. Though David Frost (the incompetent Brexit 'negotiator') and the half-witted, publicity-mad Liz Truss - who went from Lib Dem remainer to Tory Foreign Secretary, are arguably even worse.
