Definitely Davison. To be fair, it's difficult to compare since Davison had eight more stories than Baker. However I do think Davison's best stuff is better than Colin's best. Both are good though.

I prefer Colin's. The 5th Doctor is my least fave classic Doctor, I'm not a fan of most of his companions and there is a humourless as well as plastic feel to a lot of the era (esp season 19) that I find a bit dreary these days. Trial is awful but I like season 22 more than any Davison era and his Doctor appeals to me more too.

Davison brought something more unique to the part, and some of his stories (Castrovalva, Snakedance, Enlightenment) stand out more.

I personally like Davison more as the Doctor. Some of you will remember that I loved Colin back when I first joined, but he just keeps going down in my list. I think Peter is a better actor and I don't think any of his performances were as bad as Colin's in Mindwarp.

Vs Season 22 - Baker wins Vs Season 23 - Davison wins.
